Interested in this game, but on the release version youtube videos what I do see is a quick choice interface bar (Numbers 1-0 or something like that) in the lower third of the screen, all across from left to right.

I hate that look. How customizable are the interface elements, can they be removed?

The quickbar cannot customized. But if you play with a gamepad the bar will disappear and the 4 Button Cross appears on the right side of the screen. You also have just 8 buttons instead of 10.

As of now you can either hide the HUD as a whole OR hide the different elements (the minimap/radar top right, the stats top left) individually (except for the quick bar which, if you don't go for the "Hide all of the HUD" option will always be displayed ).

It does seem like a game suited to the pad, so that might be an interim solution.

Still surprised they didn't see any issue putting that monster overlay right there.

Yea, Game Devs never adjust the HUD for PC, they just make the same HUD for Console and PC, and never move the HUD out to the edges of the PC screen because they have to keep them in the 'safe' area for Console.

That's why PC users always gets stuck with the oversize Fisher-Price My-First-HUD™ crap.
