The game darkens parts of the image depending on other light sources on screen. This is breaking the game. Indoors it becomes so dark that you can even see shapes of objects. Go into a room on a sunny day and look at a windows. The ground, walls, objects, ceiling get darker as its adjusting the brightness or Gamma. There is a setting in the ConfigDefaultNew.xml file called ImageEffect="HDRI" that i think is the suspect.

I turned the gamma alread up to the max an it eases the problem but ruins the rest of the image.
And @GOG setting a 500KB filesize limit on screenshots just seems like obstruction.
I bought the game on release day to support the devs and waited to play for a new rig and for all the bugs to be ironed out. Turns out I screwed myself.
This is a problem on the developer side. There are a lot of posts already on steam, worldofplayers and many other forums but no solution so far. Michael Rüve i hope you read this. Slap someone on the wrist for breaking our hopes and dreams of a Gothic-like experience.
