So I'm finally on act 4, used up some abilitiy points I had saved up once I figured out how to scroll. Now I 1 shot like every mob even trolls. I think Im level 36'ish (maybe a bit higher) and I even moved difficulty to Ultra. Same thing.

Ulbrichts attack was already super boring, probably because it's a made for console battle. You know that epic 6 vs 6 battle that took 3 seconds that I am guessing is optimized for consoles. But now 1 shotting enemies makes the combat so dull. I don't mind the clunkiness, I don't mind this games quirks as I think it brings a ton of character and I dont disagree thsi game needs improvements. But being godlike is boring as hell. I even 1 shotted my all powerful brother, I expected a 20 minute fight from him like I used to have with a cyclops. 1 laser shot to the body, dead.

I am hoping I am bugged so wondering what othre peoples experiences are.All games make you powerful in the end typically but I would rather not be 1 punch man.

1 shot with what lol... maybe u mean the multi shot bow ? That is op never using it making game to easy.... if you say 1 shot enemy on melee combat than you dont play on ultra dude....

Dont forget 1 thing if you played lower diffuclty and you change to ultra and than you die and u reload save, than you have the lowered difficulty again, you have to change it again...

it was definitely set to ultra. So I will try a bit later tonight should I set it to ultra.. save. Quit and it should be on ultra going forward?

Wait,wait,wait- one-shotting with WHAT?

I'm on normal with an almost maxed character and I can't one-shot anything stronger than a Rottmulch.

Than it sounds like I bugged something.. Which is good, I don't mind going back in saves and redoing content. I also played like 10 hours yesterday and never once restarted so maybe it has to do something to do with that also. I have seen sometimes when I play too long that if I load a save manually it starts loading some save that isnt the one I am trying to choose, like its confused.

Anyways thanks for the feedback, I will load a previous save, set difficulty and restart. Appeciate it.

Ok so what are you using? what weapon.. cause I cant find anything even remotely powerful enough for this on normal.

The reedemer plasma rifle, I eat/drink and kill at the same time ANY type of enemy in the game... I dont even bother to search for better plasma/laser rifles anymore, not even if they got extra dmg.

100 Damage is nice but you aren't going to be one-shotting any Trolls with it.
