Hi,

I took and finished all the quests in the domed city, and helped berserkers and clerics.
After a while, I go back to the city and the quest "The Abessa dispute" pops up in my log.
It says to investigate and I do so. I loot the bodies near the bridge, talk to everyone inside the city, loot the bodies of named outlaws near the wall in the central courtyard and even proceed to the cottage to the north where Fenk the alb fled when I sided with the berserkers, and loot his body (he's dead too). I check in with the claws that tell me the hatch will remain closed for a while because there's too much confusion in the city for now.
All is well, except the quest is still not completed, and if I sleep or teleport it gets cancelled/failed.

Does anybody know how to complete it?

some spoilers!

as far as i remember, if you make it so that the clerics win, you will succeed in the quest. give the outlaws what they need, and it will fail after they take over and lose to the albs
The Abessaconflict had same messy triggers if you mixed your actions.

If you have a older version of Elex it might be just bugged, it could be noticed by talking to riley(without saving), if she was telling stuff about your deeds that was false...the triggers got messed up, if you have a older save you can check it this way.

If it was not bugged, same of the Outlaws might have ecsaped, they are supposed to gather at Hunters Hut, east of Abessa close to a small sea(if i remember right). You should be able to talk to them..to get the other Side of the story but even without triggerbugs there was a problem that the Outlaw might die on their way to the Hut.

Edit:
If you're not someone how NEEDS all Quest completed or a perfect playthough, my advice would be to just play on
because it's just frustrating if you try to "make things right" after you're hit by bugs or some triggers messed up.
It's easy to waste hour while trying fixes or repplaying the quest without any gain.
