I just thought that it we can share and discuss some useful information about the game .No spoilers of course;)
For example :
- do not rush , if someone blocks your passage and demands something -look around
- followers are terrible , high level but dumb as rocks
- running away is always an option
-dont limit your character .Every skill is useful , but remeber ... you have to fight at some point

I don't even think they're particularly high-level. I've seen Duras go down 1v1 against a normal Raptor.

-Save often.
-Make backup saves.
-Don't upgrade weapons casually, make sure you know what you're doing. Each faction has a specific skill that benefits Melee Weapons of THEIR faction only. For ranged weapons, Berserkers get two bow skills, Outlaws can make ammo for their ranged weapons. (I have no idea if Clerics get some kind of bonus to their ranged weapons)
-Going Melee? Str + Con OR Str + Dex.
-Going Ranged? Dex + Str OR Dex + Int.
-Keep your eyes open for the different types of Sunglasses, they're SUPER useful, though expensive.
-Many enemies are MORE dangerous at range.
-If you target an enemy with a ranged weapon you can see their health bar. If there is a skull on the left side of it, chances are you can't kill it.

-Always go for the money, you'll need a lot of it. If you're doing quests for a faction you don't intend to join anyway, cheat, lie and steal to the best of your ability. As long as you don't care about being a bad guy, of course.

-Get a companion ASAP. If nothing else, they serve as meat shield/distraction.

-Only fight what animals you must, especially at low level. They don't give much experience, but they cost you a lot in terms of healing/ammo. Once you upgrade your weapons and skills, that's another story.

-Don't be afraid of raising stats that you think you won't use. There is nothing wrong in getting every stat to 30, it will allow you to use better armor/weapons and get more skills. Specialise from there.

Good advice.

The enemies you can realistically beat early on give absolutely pitiful amounts of experience, it's better to avoid combat early on (tedious perhaps, but you have to play it safe initially in a PB game).

-Raising stats costs 1 Attribute Point per stat increase UNTIL you reach 31 in a stat. Increasing a stat from 31 to 32 costs 2 Attribute Points! (I'm not really aware of how beneficial stats actually are, outside of skill/equipment requirements, so I can't comment further atm)

EDIT: Weird one I found:

-Preplaced corpses (corpse containers that were never actually living NPCs) seem to have randomized loot, feel free to save-scum. [Only randomized loot in the game to my knowledge]
EDIT2: Just found out humans you kill also have randomized loot- except what loot they give becomes fixed upon their death.
