I see PB put alot of time on creating a TON of enemy types and weapon types, I mean there are so many ways in this game you can pick a build and my greatest fear is I will end up after a lot of farming with nothing to do, so I would like to know if enemy respawn ? Also does shops restock eventually ? It would be a really shame if enemy dont respawn because there is no lvl limit and there is no point on no lvl limit if at some point you cant lvl anymore lol... I mean lets say I play arround a month and I kill all creatures loot everything and do all quests ? What to do after that start a new game ? But I will waste all my time I invested to get that shiny upgraded plasma rifle and I have no enemy to use it on ? So the most important question DOES ENEMY RESPAWN YES/NO ? simple answer to ppl/DEVs who have solid information.

If enemy does not respawn and you have to start all over attleast we should have a NEW GAME Plus option so we can keep your stuff, maybe naked character but keep all lvl and attributes... witcher 3 style new game plus but with option do to new game plus as many times you want and get enemy scalled to your lvl.

I can't be certain, but judging from my own observations of playing the game: I believe some enemies DO respawn (rather, there are specific spots where "an enemy" is, and what enemy it is is randomly selected).

I'm pretty confident I've cleared an area then I came back a while later and there were enemies in the same spots- but DIFFERENT enemies!
I also not talking about the chickens or the mutant frogs or whatever they are, they give like 5 exp and you would need to kill like 500 of thos to lvl up, I want know if hard creatures that give like 100 exp and bandit camps etc
If you buy everything a trader has to offer he will replenish his inventory immediately, but only the generic stuff.

I've seen Critters, Biters and Spine Dogs in areas that I'm certain I cleared before. While those aren't great for exp, I imagine higher-level areas also respawn higher-level enemies.

Yup, they respawn, because there's a damn Critter that respawns right behind me at the teleport to get to the Hunter Cabin, and the damned thing stun locks me every single time until my companion engages it.

A CRITTER stunlocks you? What in the world are you doing? xD

I hate that thing, also dont feed the trolls... but really that troll that hangs out is insane, it killed Duras my first play though... it killed a major plot character like it was nothing.... instantly made me love this game <3
Yes: monsters and mutants -- yes, bandits and albs -- no.
Yes: consumables -- yes, weapons and armors -- no.

Again, it spawns RIGHT BEHIND ME

Also, before the game gives me control of my character, after teleporting, the Critter starts hitting me in the back, stunning me when I try to get away from it.

Right behind? Wow, I haven't had that happen to me yet.

Mostly correct but what each merchant restocks seems to vary from merchant to merchant. Some merchants have a limited stock of what another restocks.

hm this game has a weird random item system, a strange example is when I pickpocket NPCs sometimes they have different item or a different number of elexit shards, if I cancel the pickpocket and than pickpocket that NPC again he can have more or less elexit shards. I start to think the game is using a random system to place objects.monsters in special selected areas, might found something new in areas already explored ? That would be cool.

There is definitely some randomness to certain elements of the game.

-What enemies spawn in a specific spawn location can vary, but only between a select grouping of enemies.

-Humans (and preset corpses) drop randomized loot, but it's still from a preset pool of items and elexit amounts.

There's probably more, but that's what I can think of off the top of my head.
I think plants respawn as well. More than once I noticed plants in areas were I am certain that I harvested all some time before....

I haven't noticed this one, I'll have to go revisit areas I've definitely cleared.
