Good evening, dearest community,

I recently bought a copy of the Oblivion GOTY Edition at GOG and I wanted to conduct some modifications on this game, because it's getting old and some of the textures and mechanics are not as good as I remembered anymore.

Unfortunately I have no clue how to install some modifications at all, since there are dozens, even hundreds of mod guides, telling me to use OBMM, Wrye, NMM or even none of them and it's kinda confusing. My only moment of success at this point was to make OBSE and OCOv2 running, which was not that hard, even for a newbie like me.

But everytime I want to install the Unofficial Patches, QTP or anything else, the Managers keep asking me, if I want to overwrite this and that, and it always results in crashing the game somehow.

I just want to get a decent guide for modificating Oblivion, which explains the installation of every recommended mod step by step. The ReadMe-Datas, being mostly attached to the archives, don't help me at all, because most of steps recommend knowledge, which has to be achieved before.
