Hello
I've had this issue on the steam version too and never found a solution. Basically after I click play from the game launcher, Skyrim no longer recognizes the mouse as input. If I bring up console, I have mouse and can click, but after closing console, no more mouse. This happens whether a controller is connected or not. The game is unplayable unless a controller/gamepad is connected. Most of the time I'm at my desktop, but if I remote play from the laptop (which has no gamepad) I can't play Skyrim. Is there a work around? All my other games work fine, only Skyrim doesn't recognize the mouse. I have not yet modded the gog version. I've tried a bluetooth mouse, wired, wireless kb/mouse combo, the trackpad from my laptop (when remote playing) but none are recognized once Skyrim loads.
My specs
Win10 pro
Ryzen 9 5900X
32GB Ram
GTX980
