Hi there,

I am trying to get a 3rd person perspective similar to Dragon Age or Fallout 4. Nothing I've tried seems to work. I am using a controller. Is that the issue? I keep getting killed right away even on novice level cuz i can't see my char's position relative to the foes attacking me. All I see are my char's hands,l ke in the old Doom game.

I think you click the right analog stick on gamepad. There are also some mods that improve 3rd person combat.

1) Click the right thumbstick to switch to third person view

2) You can zoom in/out by clicking and holding down the right stick and moving the left stick up and down.
