I've been making me way through Redguard and I've reach the prison/rooftop escape section and the game is Doom 3 dark. The game doesn't seem to have any brightness controls in either the options menu or the dosbox configuration that I've seen. Finding the Khajit to turn me back SPOILER into a human from a Gremlin was a pain.
I had to watch this guy's playthrough to navigate the prison.

Skip to about 28:30 to see the prison and the brightness it should be (mine much darker).
No worries if there is no solution. I've completed more of the story and the game has reverted to daytime. Those torches certainly came in handy.
