So, I have the soul gem and I need to take it to the Yokudan camp to show Saban... but she has vanished and Coyle has nothing to say about it!
It was quite a while back that I completed the quest to save the soul of the dead Yokudan and I could have sworn she said she was going to leave somewhere. The journal offers no reminder of where that might be. Glitch or do I just need to look around more?
Edit: Well. Found her. Couple hundred feet south of the Yokudan camp making her way towards Stros. One problem solved, another comes up. Speaking to her about, anything really, cuts to Coyle still back at the Yokudan camp translating for his mother hundreds of feet to the south. Other than the humerousness of the long range communication the serious issue is that his dialogue hangs, whether skipped or not and the camera just sits next to him.
I assumed that perhaps allowing her to reach her destination would fix the bug. Except her destination seems to be walking in a straight line to Stros right into the river where she gets stuck.
Yeah... game broken here for me.
Make certain to save the Yokudan soul mission as the very last thing you do. Going to try a few things. Maybe if I don't stare at her she will teleport to her proper position or something. While I've been making multiple saves I don't feel like replaying hours and hours of gameplay to fix this.
Double Edit: I'm very lucky. I loaded the last save I created before realizing I needed to go back to talk to Saban and hurried over as fast as I could with a feather teleport. I managed to catch her as she was only about 50-100 feet away from the camp instead of a couple of hundred and the dialogue played normally. Still curious about how this situation is supposed to work for players who complete the soul quest early. Is she actually supposed to show up in town somewhere and if so how do you talk to her with Coyle remaining at the camp?
Well, either way short of some other disastrous glitch it looks like I'll be able to finish the game.
