Using installer setup_the_elder_scrolls_v_skyrim_special_edition_1.6.659.0.8_(64bit)_(59094).exe

I run the icon on my desktop and a launcher opens. I click Play and the launcher closes. Nothing else happens.

I went to properties to open the game folder. There I tried the other executable. Now the game opens but it's in a window and part of it is off screen.

For the launcher did you try the following?:

Hard Rebooting your system
Going to properties and:
'Run as administrator'
'Compatibility mode'
