Hi there

So I've installed Oblivion and modded it according to the recommended mod list in the sticky thread. I've also tried it vanilla, but I have the same problem. My problem is that no shadows are being rendered or cast by anyone or anything. The options for shadows in the game menu is greyed out. Also, when I had HDR lighting enabled, all I got was a blank screen, so I have to keep that off as well.

I've read that others have had similar problems, but I haven't found any solutions for it. Some have linked to a shader pack on the nexus site, but that mod says it overhauls the entire shading system in Oblivion to make it look prettier. I don't necessarily want to overhaul the entire shading system. Is there any fix for not having any shadows in the game?

On the plus side, the game runs buttery smooth without having to render these shadows.
