I'm trying to get some Racer Plums so I can make potions of Levitate, but can't seem to find any. I've flown all over the island, using a combination of Levitate (from another source, but I still want the potion), Jump, and the Boots of Blinding Speed, but I can't seem to find even a single enemy capable of dropping the Racer Plums I need. Do you have any idea where I might find such enemies? (UESP is no help; it lists "everywhere" as a location, which isn't very helpful.)

I even took a trip to Silnim Dale in order to get a Passwall spell, and it still hasn't helped me find those Racer Plums I need. (With that said, it is fun to use Passwall to bypass Ghostgate and enter the red mountain early, and it is handy for exploring dungeons, but it still hasn't helped me find any enemies that drop Racer Plums.)

So, where could I find the enemy in question?

Edit: Before anyone asks, I would prefer not to use the Racer Recursion mod, and even if I did use that mod, I would still need to find one of those creatures to start things off.

iirc, Cliff Racers are level gated so you may have to hit level 5 or 7 to get them to spawn.

I think it's the first time I see when someone actually wants to find a Cliff Racer. :P

And I hope you meant Plumes and you don't want to reach for their plums. ;)


BTW - Passwall spell? I guess it's a part of some mod?

I guess you didn't realize that this topic was an April Fool's joke. (The mention of Passwall should have tipped you off.)

Passwall (and the town I claimed I got the spell from) are actually in the first Elder Scrolls game, Arena. The town in question is in the Morrowind region, but is not accessible in the game Morrowind, as it isn't on the island the game takes place on. (I did not check to see if that spell can actually be bought in that town, but even if it can't, you can make a spell with that effect in the Spellmaker there (and Arena's Spellmaker doesn't require you to get a spell with the effect before you can use it in custom spells).)

(By the way, in Morrowind I actually have seen Cliff Racers at level 1.)

Well, I didn't. Maybe it was because April Fools' was yesterday. :] :P I know that, but I thought that someone modded it into Morrowind. I know that, too. My guess was that you might be using Tamriel Rebiult.

So, a bit late, but you got me. :)

From looking online, it appears that Silnim Dale is not (yet) in Tamriel Rebuilt (pretty sure it's "Rebuilt" nad not "Rebiult"), so that idea doesn't work.

By the way, I had the idea of making my topic about not being able to find an Oblivion gate anywhere on the island, despite flying around with Levitate and even using that Passwall spell. (Remember that Morrowind doesn't have Oblivion gates.)

There's also the Oblivion screenshot I posted on the general forum, where I don't have enough Magicka to use a greater power (remember, these cost 0 but can only be used once per day).

I read your post only today and thought there must be something wrong, for I know pretty well that you can find Cliff Racers on all levels, and that many of them give you plumes. I didn't notice the spelling "plums", I didn't consider the date, and I didn't "think out of the box".
