they should assuming mods match up decently
I'll just use wrye mash to make sure what saves have what mods, then.

It seems that there is a newer standalone version of Wrye Mash that does not require python - maybe you should try this:

Yep, found the standalone right after writing that. Installed the older standalone, without mlox and the other thing, because it might be stabler.
