Googled this but just came up with the "turn off Steam overlay" fix which obviously doesn't apply to GOG downloads.
My pre-MGSO saved game works fine but when I try to start a new game I just get the sounds of the prison ship and a black screen, necessitating a force quit.
My laptop is a 2.4ghz duo core with 3gb of RAM and NVIDIA gt130 GPU. The saved game seems to run fine with the settings toned down (although I only get a barely playable 20fps). Still, no crashes or anything.
I used the MGSO options.exe several times to tweak the performance and there were errors and crashes when changing settings that required me to run it again. I wonder if that might be the issue.
Since I'm only in Balmora I'm thinking about uninstalling both Morrowind and MGSO and starting over unless anyone knows of a quick fix.
Any suggestions?
