Hello. In skyrim, why cant I invest in ghorza's shop? Thanks.

Looks like a known bug.
Sometimes the dialog to invest in Ghorza's shop will not work at all, and sometimes you can invest, but Moth gro-Bagol's shop (inside the Understone Keep) will receive the investment money as well. haha

"Unofficial Skyrim Special Edition Patch" mod will fix both bugs.

Better off using console commands then a DRM 'patch' by rank amateurs sure to mess up your skyrim.

I have not encountered your glitch but I did find console commands for a different quest bug on the following site:

Sorry for not giving a direct link but anyway you can see the page has a 'bug' section for the quest so I suggest using the site's search function to find your quest and see if there is something under its 'bugs' section.

I looked into this and looked around some other places. And it seems there are two choices. 1 is to install a patch, I'm not sure which patch or if it will work with gog's version. 2 Kill ghorza. That kind of goes against what I want to do. So I think that about that. Thanks for the help anyway.

The quest cannot be reset?

Not sure of the quest, but if you kill ghorza her assistant will take over and you can invest with him. But, again, that not what I want to do.
