Arena:
Shield 1 + 99/level. (At lower levels, use a lower /level component.) Castable if your level is high enough, and you can then rest (or absorb spells) afterward to get your spell points back. Now the next 99 points of damage per level (so at level 10, 990 points) you take are absorbed by the shield. Who needs healing when you have this spell? Note that this spell doesn't have a finite duration, so you can cast this spell, rest, and then travel to the other side of the world map without losing the effect.
(By the way, if you are playing a Sorcerer, high Willpower helps you absorb spells.)
Daggerfall:
Regenerate 1 + 25/level for 1 + x/level. This spell is *far* cheaper than it should be. (Regenerating 25 per level is cheaper than regenerating 25.) Now, every few seconds your health fully recovers. This spell isn't even that expensive; I have been able to (at reasonable Restoration skill) set x to 60 and still afford the spell. At level 9+, that is longer than it takes to fully regain spell points when resting.
Of note, these spells are so powerful they might make the game less fun if used. (It's the same problem with cheating in single player games; if you cheat too much, the game becomes less fun.)
