Hello!

It looks like Bethesda is pulling a Street Fighter and making 10 million different versions of the same game. I was thinking, what if they added some polish to Oblivion and Morrowind? Updated graphics, a few minor tweaks for the sake of convenience, but it would still be the same game (leveling, abilites, skills, attributes, items, and classes would be the same). If they want cash in the bank, I think that's a good option. And it's a hell of a lot better than remaking the same game for the sake of VR, or having your users pay for mods. What do you folks think?

Thanks for replying.
They already said it won't happen, but who knows? They might reconsider at some point.
I wish they had done this with Oblivion instead of Skyrim (the Special Edition).

Skyrim is fairly easy to mod, Oblivion a little harder (I use NMM - no OMOD support). Even with little knowledge, my "Oldrim" already looked like the SSE, if not better.

They really dropped the ball.

Morrowind is my favorite, but I don't trust them to remake that - I feel like they would use the Skyrim engine and drastically change the game. It was the real, true open-world experience, creating any character you wanted - want to be godlike? Ok. Then they dumbed it down a bit with Oblivion, and REALLY dumbed it down with Skyrim.
