Skyrim SE
I don't know whether it's a bug with the GOG specific launcher, the latest Nvidia drivers, or the new Windows 11 22 build. Anyway, if you try to launch from the launcher, there is a delay of about three seconds before the options appear on the launcher's background. When you click play, the launcher doesn't close, and the game begins, but with absolutely no g-sync and stuttery performance. If you click the mouse, however, the screen goes black and reloads with g-sync active. Now, here is the even stranger part. If I happen to launch Geforce Experience in a window, I can click on the game's launcher and there is absolutely no delay whatsoever. Once GFE is closed, the delay and not launching with g-sync active occurs about 90% of the time. Yes, very weird discovery. My other versions of Skyrim do not exhibit this behavior. I don't need to DDU or any of the like. I'm old hat at these things.
