I uninstalled my steam skyrim special edition via steam. I bought and installed Skyrim anniversary edition via galaxy and it uses my steam SE version instead of Gog AE version in Galaxy why? Thankfully I downloaded on gog site and it works properly.. is anyone else having this bug with galaxy or am I the only unlucky one?

When you go to play the game via galaxy there is a diamond shape I believe and it's along the top row where you have progress, extras, etc. Click the diamond and it'll show you which one you have selected. Hope that helps
