It seems that you're using an outdated browser. Some things may not work as they should (or don't work at all).

Thought I'd bring it to attention and, hopefully, find a fix.

I just downloaded the GOG cut of Daggerfall Unity, the main attraction of which is only having to download, install, and play. When I open the game, I just get a black screen with the Daggerfall cursor overlayed on it. I can press Home and see the options menu there, but I have no way to actually interact with the main menu or play the game.

I'm running Windows 11, and installed to an external drive (rather than my C: drive) via the GoG Galaxy client.

Any help would be appreciated!

I was able to rectify the issue by restarting my computer and verifying/repairing the install via the GoG client. Works fine now.

If it happens again. Try disabling Distant Terrain.
