I think I'm just too stupid for installing the fix for the dirty references. ("Morrowind Official Plugins" Version 1.2 by WHReaper)

My Morrowind (Vanilla, german language) contains this structure:

J:\Spiele\Morrowind\

In this folder are some files and three folders.
"_redist"
"_OfficialPlugins"
"Data Files"

In the "_OfficialPlugins"-Folder are 8 .zip files and one folder called "_unpacked_files"

"Morrwowind Official Plugins" contains 8 folders. (the same names as the .zip files above)

In the Readme they tell me to copy those folders in the "Data Files". But ist doesn't works.

I can't see a checkbox in the Launcher either where I can include the mini-expansions.

What shall I do? Please help.

P.S. After this fix I want to install a Mod for 1900x1200, better graphics (not so much needed) and one mod for excelerated walking speed. What else is needed? Thanks for your recommendations.

Where did you download the WHReaper file? I found it at http://download.fliggerty.com/download--1079, and the file structure is somewhat different (compared to the one you describe). Mine is a RAR file containing one folder "Morrowind Official Plugins". Underneath are, among other stuff, 8 sub-folders containing the official plugins. These contain the files you need, and all you have to do is to copy the contents of these sub-folders to Data Files in your Morrowind folder (individually, only the contents, not the folders themselves) and activate them via Launch -> Data Files.

Example: Open the "Adamantium Armors" folder. There you finds 4 folders, an esp and a txt file. The folders are "!Optional", "Icons", "Meshes" and "Textures". You need the last 3 folders, the first one is optional (better graphics).
The minimum you have to copy to Data Files are the folders without "!Optional" and the esp file, but you can also copy the whole lot. And read the readme file - it tells you that you'll receive an error message when you launch the game, but that it doesn't hurt.

It's important that the esp files are in Data Files, not in Morrowind and not in a sub-folder of Data Files - I guess this is what's causing your issue.

Good luck!
Thank You for Your Advice. Now I understand....
...and it worked!

Thanks!
