Every time I exit the first dungeon in Daggerfall Unity, I start outside (below?) the terrain. Fast travel crashes the game. Enabling noclip by using the tcl console command keeps me from falling, but I can't see to get above the terrain by walking or levitating upwards. (Levitating upwards for aorund 5 minutes caused the game to stop responding.)

Looks just like in this post: https://www.reddit.com/r/daggerfallunity/comments/udix2z/when_i_leave_the_first_dungeon_im_in_a_white_void/

Solution: Disable the Distant Terrain mod, as suggested in the Reddit post.

Back when 0.13.5 launched I spotted that Distant Terrain started causing errors in the DFU logs.
This was causing random bugs with other mods, probably depending on load order, hardware etc so I stopped recommending using that mod. Unfortunately, since the errors do not always cause obvious bugs, many kept on using it.

For now, just set your view distance in the DFU settings to max. It is not as far a view distance as Distant Terrain, but I consider it good enough.

Agreed. I was having crashing problems when traveling and disabling Distant Terrain solved it.
Hi, this is a crashing patience tester. Try fast travel an sleep in inns, crash cash crash...
Get out of any dung. Crash on 50 percent. Sleep inside and voila CRASH again.
Sounds like mod problems or conflicts. Disable all of them and try again. If the crashes are still there, report details and we try to help.
If not, it's a mod or a combination of mods. Enable them in any sequence (based on your preferences) and see if you experience crashes or not.

Based on the contents of this thread, it might be worth disabling Distant Terrain alone. Perhaps it helps, at least a bit.
