Daggerfall is free, so it seems that this work was made for passion and not to earn money.
And now with the Unity engine, it seems technically possible to make a Linux version.

I hope to see the Linux version exist one day, it's also an opportunity for GOG to demonstrate its interest for its customers, Linux users.

Yeah, Daggerfall Unity already has Mac and Linux versions.

You can, right now, just download Daggerfall Unity for linux and install the same mods as the GOG Cut uses and you will have GOG Cut on linux.

Where did you find "the same mods used by GOG Cut" ?
If you suggest to install Unity, and compile the version like GOG does, can you explain how, and give the settings used please?
But as it's not related to the request I guess it's not about that ?

There is no finding without searching. I'd try to search the internet for "download Daggerfall Unity for linux" (or something similar).
