First of all, I would like to thank the developers of DFU to bring back the classic UI, and thus to resolve the biggest issue I had with DFU until now!
With that said, I noticed two issues, where the new interface doesn't seem to work exactly like classic Daggerfall. As it's possible that I simply don't understand the new interface well enough, I describe the issues in the form of questions (perhaps someone more familiar with DFU can answer them):
- Is there a way to make the classic cursor (not cross-hair) default?
- Can I get the 4 direction keys to work exactly like they do in classic Daggerfall?
To explain the second question: I'm used to the classic method to move and use the interface on the bottom of the screen: Move with the direction keys, and use the mouse to click on the bottom icons. This works now, except that the left / right keys are bound to move left / right instead of to turn left / right. When I change the key assignments in the way I want them to work, the left / right keys become inactive (but they work correctly in the other mode, the one with the crosshair cursor). Is there a way to get the left / right keys to do what I want in both modes?
