I happen to own a complete, in box, original release of Daggerfall that has the manual, Bethesda contact info, and even the Adverts. I would like to know what someone would pay for this, I have seen just the game and manual go for 80 bucks on eBay with the box as an extra 20 dollar charge if the buyer wished to buy it (I don't really think a collector would buy it for this price since these eBay listings have been up for a number of years). I do not plan on selling it anytime soon but I might eventually do so and would like to know what someone would pay for this amazing piece of gaming history realistically.
I my experience (successful) eBay auctions offer realistic price points for such items (those items being out of print articles with somewhat of a fanbase). Since you said you have lots of time, my advice would be to set a few bookmarks and keep an eye on how much they actually sell for.

[Edit:]
Oh, and when you sell it, make sure to point out the holo-foil box*. From my point of view "shiny" is the main selling point of this box as a collectors item. ;) The game itself is available as freeware from Bethesda's site as well as GOG** and is probably of little to no value to a collector.

* Example: Lazy Game Reviews - Elder Scrolls - Daggerfall - DOS PC Game Review [2014-07-18]
** GOG adds Daggerfall and Arena to your account as free extras if you buy any Bethesda game.
