Has anyone had any issues trying to configure the controller? I have an Xbox 360 controller for my computer. I was hoping that it would be configured the same on PC as the 360, but I'm not even able to assign control stick movements in the configuration. Has anyone else had issues like this, and does anyone know a fix?

Morrowind and Oblivion doesn't have controller support. You can try mods to see if they can work for you:

Morrowind (Not a mod, but getting MW to work natively on different OSes.) - https://openmw.org/en/
