Hello,
There's an audio issue with Arena that I need help with. It's not game-breaking, but it does grate over time. A popping sound happens at times while playing. Particularly when swinging a weapon. Here's an example:
(I can't post links yet)
I'm running Windows 7. My Arena root directory is not in a protected folder. I updated my audio drivers. I checked disable audio enhancements in Window's output device manager. I've been trying suggestions from other games' forums and playing around with dosbox_arena.conf settings (cpu, mixer, midi, sblaster), but nothing has fixed it yet. I've also tried different GOGDOSConfig.exe settings (graphics modes, scaling engines and window resolutions) with no luck.

I've since reinstalled Arena, and my .conf files are all reset back to default. Has anyone else experienced this popping sound? As a DOSBox neophyte I'd bet I'm missing something or doing something wrong. Any help is greatly appreciated.
Please, thank you and much love.
