Hello, Good evening
Here is my problem,

Thursday everything was fine with the game, and Friday it started to crash at times.
Just image freezing, game closing. And now I'm at the Barrageville (Dam City ?) Sewer Monster chasing Sam, and it's impossible for me to finish that boss.

The game crashes in the middle of the boss. Image freezes and that's it. The game doesn't close, I have to press windows key to go back to the desktop and close the game. and the sound even works. I can hear Sam getting Game Over from the boss.


My graphics drivers are up to date, the game starts in admin, I had it checked/repaired on GOG, I reinstalled the game, I even tried to play in windowed mode to get past the boss, but no, it crashes in windowed mode too.

Some things I noticed about this crash:
- It seems to be related to the "miasma" particles, since the only time I experienced this crash was when the boss started leaving them behind in it's "horizontal chase" phase.
- It seems to be partly based on chance, as it doesn't always occur the first time the particles appear.

Out of interest, what graphics card/chip is being used to run Eastward? Perhaps it was just chance, but I was able to successfully clear the boss after forcing Windows to use my laptop's dedicated Nvidia graphics card to run Eastward. My laptop has both an integrated Intel graphics chip and a dedicated Nvidia graphics card, and by default Windows is set to automatically decide and use "Hardware-Accelerated GPU Scheduling".
