Pocketim: Picking a favorite level out of the Earthworm Jim games is difficult for me, since they are all so different from each other. Some that stick out in my mind though are For Pete's Sake, What the Heck?, and Lorenzen's Soil (which I was a bit disappointed to see get cut out of the GOG version). Only levels I really disliked were Tube Race and The Flying King. Yes, I even enjoyed the Puppy Love minigames.
I love Earthworm Jim. It's one of my favorite 2D platformers ever, and would love to see a true sequel. I preferred Earthworm Jim 1 over 2, but I've always thought that Earthworm Jim 2 got a bit overshadowed. It's still an amazing game!
Drelmanes: I love the elevator music in 'What the heck?'. : p
I like the 'Andy asteroids' levels. They're fun. Except when you lose (I hate the fight against Psycrow).
I also like 'Buttville', yes, the last level. I remember the first time I saw that level, with thorns everywhere. I tought it was impossible! Heheh.
In Earthworm Jim 2 I like "Anything but tangerines' (I like exploring this level. It's a good initial level for a game, in my oppinion), 'Villi people' (this level is so weird, dude, but it's cool), and 'Inflated head' (not much to say, it's just hilarious to see the cat trying to kill you).
What characters you most like and hate?
The elevator music was part of what made What the Heck so great xD
Andy Asteroids was fun. It was a nice way to break up the levels, and the levels were fun too. Fighting Psycrow didn't irritate me too much. Just bugged me since it starts to get old if you lose several times, and it holds you up from going to the next level.
I honestly have to say I loved all the characters, with their zany and over-the-top character designs. If I had to pick a favorite though (not including Jim), it would be Peter Puppy, and least favorite would be Psycrow (he just seemed kind of bland to me).
The Evil Queen Pulsating, Bloated, Festering, Sweaty, Pus-filled, Malformed, Slug-for-a-Butt is another favorite, mainly just because the name is fun to say =P
Did you ever play Earthworm Jm 3D? Even though it has a bad rep, I'll probably give it a shot anyway, since I don't like to judge a game before I've actually played it. That, and it would be nice to complete the Earthworm Jim series on GOG.
