Is this an actual windows port? Or is this running under Dos/Dosbox?

it runs under dos box, but unlike redneck rampage i didnt have any issues and it ran great for me

*laughs* Good, that's the exact reason I asked. Redneck Rampage didn't even run on my system at over 5 frames a second. The fact that I can run Half Life 2 almost perfectly, and yet a old BUILD engine game chops like that really angers me. Anyhow... thanks!
Too bad it's not the EWJ Special Edition... I've always really wanted to try that version, what with the exclusive level and all.

With a bit of fiddling you can get decent speeds even under DOSbox. Or just use alternate methods for running BUILD engine games, as described here.
And as far as old games go, getting the likes of Redneck Rampage, Blood, Duke Nukem et cetera running is pretty easy stuff, compared to early Win95 games using 3dfx accelerated graphics - now that can be proper painful.

i got redneck rampage running well but i had to slap dosbox configs around for about 15min heh but EWJ 1 and 2 didnt give me flack
