I lose control with both my mouse and keyboard once the game starts up, starting at the select player screen.
While i know this issue vexed another user and was apparently solved, said users solution did not work for my issue. So i was wondering if any other user has encountered these issues as well and if so how did you fix them. And if not if anyone may have a solution. Any help would be greatly helpful.

Hey I know this probably won't come in time to help you, but I have a solution that worked for me so I am sharing my solution for other fans of of the Earth Series.

The problem is that I see a cursor, but it is stuck. If i button mash i can somehow create a new player and get into the menues, but it is impossible to play with a stuck or invisible cursor.

The cause of the problem seems to be that all of us have set our text size in windows to above 100%. I have since old eyes.

To solve this go to control panel, appearance and personalization, display, click on the option for your os to change the size of apps and text (first highlighted text "use these display options"), and change to 100%. I also changed to 100% in the custom scaling option, but I dont think that was it.

Then restart, launch and see your cursor.
