I see that the Earth 21xx series is on sale, but I keep reading conflicting reports that the A.I. is fixed or not fixed. I'd be interested in trying this first game, but not if the computer controlled units just sit there and don't do anything. Is it a case were it's working for some people and not for others or what? Can anyone say that they've bought it recently and that the A.I. is building units and attack? Any word from GOG on this? GOG can you let me know? Thanks much!

Earth 2140 now includes the DOS version with A.I. intact, as well as the Windows version with broken A.I.

Yes, through DOSbox which is provided.
