just bought earth 2140 pack and got started right away.
even though it is an old game i get the feeling im playing in 480*640 and no way to change this.

i know it will never fit my widescreen but i rather not play with my nose on my screen, so is there any way to change this?

Do you want to change the actual resolution, or is the game displayed on a very small area in the middle of your screen?
If you just want a different resolution, the game doesn't seem to support that.
If your problem is the latter, you might want to change the scaler (assuming you're running the Dosbox version, since it's superior to the Win one).
I'm having the same problem with the DOS version of Earth 2140. For some reason the "Graphic Mode Setup" cannot increase the resolution of the game. It's still stuck in 640x480, but I want to increase the resolution to 1024x768 or higher. I'm also running it in a window. I checked the .conf file and the format seems to be correct. Is there something else I have to do to increase the resolution?

To help you can physically drop the resolution of your own monitor view.

This will 'blow up' the game, so to speak. It's not increasing the resolution any, but it will make it larger. I did this trick lots while playing ADOM, back in the day.

I'd rather not have to lower the resolution of my computer to 640x480. Is there no other way to create a window in the game and increase the resolution?

sometimes if you type /w at the end of a file, it will open in windowed mode. For instance, making a shortcut for the *.exe. and doing this will work, but I think it depends on the game. I read this in a forum once when I was trying to get some steam games to run in windowed mode. It didn't work for me, but others claimed it did. :\
How to change the resolution in game? it';s impossible to play on hi res because it works on a little window in the middle of the screen... :(
Changing Res. on windows doesn't help, game still runs in hi res and little window in the middle.
