All sources on the internet say that <enter> will bring up the command console for Earth 2160.
Though that key seems to be doing nothing! That goes for *both* <enter> keys!
That means no cheat codes! After playing the ED campaign I can see where this going, highly likely I will need those codes to ease the frustration somewhat!

Of course, it could now simply be bound to a different key...... not found it yet though.

Or v1.38 has had them removed entirely, or maybe it was even GOG themselves that removed them. I thought their jurisidiction was just making sure these old games install and run on present day PCs before selling them - not being some kind of "anti-cheat police". (It seems quite common among GOG titles for cheats to be disabled!)

Anyway, anyone know what I need to do if I do need cheats later!

Probably not a good idea expressing my displeasure at receiving no answers. But I am going to anyway.

The time has finally come that I need the cheats, the UCS campaign scenario "The Lost Souls" is just impossible, even on so called "easy". Here I come expecting to find *some* advice after almost a week - my previous question was answered in just hours - but find only disappointment.

Thanks Animal, got through E2160 with only minimal use of cheats - but they were essential in one or two rough spots!
