Hi,
I have just installed Earth 2150 and can only start two of the three games.
Lost Souls & The Moon Project start OK but I can not start Escape From the Blue Planet, no screen comes up after the resolution pick screen.
I have reinstalled but still no change.
This may or may not have some bearing. I originally tried the start Escape From the Blue Planet, at my monitors resolution of 1920 x 1080. Since it would not start I started the other two on 1024 x 768 and they started OK. When I reinstalled I completely deleted all in the install directory, but is there any other place where settings may be held that remember 1920 x 1080 if this is too high for the game.
Any help would be appreciated as I can not think of anything more to try.
Also what are the maximum resolutions people have used in XP to play this one.

I had this problem too. I solved it by re-downloading and reinstalling the game repeatedly until finally the core game started working.

Thanks for the reply. My download quota is up for this month so I will have to wait to download it again. But since the installer verifies OK at the start of the process I will try to reinstall a few more time with the existing installer.

I have finally been able to install the series on an old P3 I have running XP SP3 with an old Nvidia 5200 card.
I have tries on two other PC's both Intel 3.1 dual cores. One with a GTX280 card and the other a Nvidia 9500 GT. To me it looks like the program is not optimised for modern hardware.
I think GoG need to look at the optimisation a bit better. The old P3 will load the game but it is too slow to play it, so looks like I will only be able to play to two expansions and not the initial game unless GoG can fix the issues.
I will try to see how to raise a ticket to lodge my problem with them.
