I can't update because I'm told that my core game isn't supported. "Please update". But I have updated to 1.4.2 today!

So what was your fault ? I'm also too dumb to get this done. After being pissed enough about the auto-updater failing over and over again I simply looked into it and downloaded the files manualy and unpacked them into the game folder, ending up with 1.4.2 and a version 1.4.3 which doesn't get recognized so the updater is downloading and applying 1.4.3 over and over again to tell me my version isn't the most recent. However, the DLC installer also tells me the core version isn't matching. Snowbird left an impression ...

EDIT: Ah, ok. I just had to reinstall the whole game with the gog installer for the lulz. The ever repeating loop with 1.4.3 still there tho. Yeah, charming.

Why on earth do they implement an auto-update "feature" anyway? Nobody needs it.
I would buy the game, but I don't because of the auto-updater. I'm playing on a computer that is not connected to the internet for various reasons.
