Hi,

I appreciate the game, but my current impression is that I'm spending quite some time running in circle, killing the others enemy heroes to maintain my domain and sometime manage to barely expand it. I'm using garrisons but they can't hold against enemy heroes anyway, and castles get besieged.

If I could move units without heroes, that would be a different story. I guess I prefer Master of Magic/Age of Wonders/Fallen Enchantress over these kinds of 'heroes of might and magic' games, but I'm taking all advices to improve my enjoyment.

Garrisons are no use at some point against the enemy...

What you can do, is build a fort, then garrison it with the cheapest unit available...

The enemy will take his time with the siege giving you time to react and get him... As a plus he'll remain in place there, so you don't have to chase him around...
When you expand, don't spend too much time expanding internally -- expand towards where you think the enemy is and try to establish a front against them. Keep your territory a little on the small side, and highly defensible. Use forts in strategic locations, since the need to be sieged.

Also I believe that if you reduce the enemy's income, they can't revive their heroes as quickly. Also, they can't revive them at all if you're sieging the stronghold.
