I have the same install of Genesis I used in the first place and the game folders were copied. So if I install again then copy my old save folder into the new game will I be able to resume my campaign? Thanks.

Don't the battle animations run choppy for you? I just noticed what a big difference the little tweaks there make when I installed the new horizons mod.( it overwrote the cfg)

Not that I have noticed. Anyway I don't know how to edit the file.

Open with notepad or any other similar program.
You can decrease Sleep time and Refresh delay, game would run faster, and set Lake ships to 1.
It was later addition to ini file, AI had this option ON by default, and this leaded to situations where you could stuck on island after using AI's harbour and not having possibility to build your own on another side.
