It happend to me now two times that a battle ended with a draw suddenly.

I know that there was a turnlimit for battles at Genesis too but there you got a warning a few turn before you reached the limit.

I searched the settings twice but found nothing, is there any way to enable the warning or to disable the turnlimit?
You get two warnings in Eador Genesis as the turn limit approaches; not sure about Masters of the Broken World. Possible bug?
I've never had a battle go that long. How does that happen?
When you are trying to eke out a victory against enemies where damage goes low - think trying to kill knight with swords! Assuming you have managed to reduce morale/stamina on the knight so that it cannot kill your units swords will still take ages to chop through all the armor!

Alternative, multiple trolls or gargoyles. Basically any low offence situation where you can't or don't want to go all out on attack - happens a lot with scout hero working with 'good' defensive units like swords or guards. Healers with meditation are normally required also...

Ok thanks for the answer, I never try such a risky battle, but don't have the patience for something like that anyway.
@regnak

It's not risky at all provided you know what you are doing and have appropriate spells prepared. Being able to clear such sites really helps in levelling quickly - these are typically the 'tough' sites (in first 25 turns) in first ring which give out good rewards.
Or using fear/Fatigue/Net/Blind/... with a Mage to bet enemys that are much stronger in quality or numbers...
Or if you let a single Unit do the branch of the Work to get a Medal...

Anyway...at Genesis you get a first warning 5(?) Turns before you reach the limit but at MoBW my battles sometimes just End with a Draw :(
