...it is an amazing game. I've only recently started enjoying TBS games so I probably don't have the history that a lot of people at GoG have, in spite of that I must say this is one enjoyable, addicting game. I'm so glad I picked this up. It makes me wonder how many other hidden gems there are out there that I've never heard of. Big thanks to GoG for making this game available

Thought the same thing, who knows what else is out there! We always whine about the lack of good complex games, and then this appears out of nowhere. Its like playing Master of Magic for the first time (which was only 4 years ago for me), just wonderful.

btw...how come one guy can make such a masterful game and a million $ company like stardock with a huge budget fails with Elemental War of Magic?

Have you tried Fallen Enchantress? I never played War of Magic, but apparently Fallen Enchantress is Stardocks attempt to fix the problems of War of Magic. Apparently if you are an early owner of War of Magic you get Fallen Enchantress free...basically as an apology for how shitty War of Magic was.

I have Fallen Enchantress and I'm enjoying it, I'm kind of a noob at this gametype though so take my opinion as someone without a long history to compare games of this genre.

Yeah, I heard that FE is better, will play it eventually, after its last patch.
