Silverhawk170485: OOOOOKAYYY? Wondering why they didn't say that before on an official way. Now I see a lot of people wondering why the multiplayer functions are not working, googeling around for that "issue" or contacting the support. :S
Gremlion: They DID! In stream on russian language.
I mentioned it
http://www.gog.com/forum/eador_series/soo_much_for_preordering_read_this/post35 Bolded part. Nobody noticed, probably.
Practically, they did it exactly like that:
http://www.nerfnow.com/comic/919 Postponing in 2012 to add multiplayer on shard, which before release became "tedious and boring" (cite from stream)
Stream in russian laguage and a post in a forumthread where about 99% of all buyers didn't notice? That's like findig a needle in an haystack. You could also write a message on a sheet of paper, hang it up somewhere in New York and hope that everyone reads this message. Also a lot of people who bought that game on Steam are confused, as I saw in the Steam forums. :S
Wasn't it the same thing with the game
The War Z. The developers advertised features which were missing on release. A lot of buyers complained and the game has been taken out of the Steam Shop although they promised afterwards to add these features in future updates? Steam observed the further development and only put the game back online when they were confident of the product. Perhaps all because of lacking informations about the game.
It should have been the first priority to finish the maingame before making an expansion in form of a DLC for russian preorderers.
