Recently purchasd Imperium after watching a few lets plays. Seemed to install and runs ok, but I noticed on the Lets Plays that in a menu when the game starts there was a selection for "Scenarios", allowing you to select one from six or so. One (I think the third) was to start as a Necromancer.

In my purchase this menu only has: Tutorial, Campaign, Sandbox, Maps (Random only), Extras and Quit. Are the "Scenarios a DLC or something? No extras available in my purchase, though I did find a manual (that doesn't mention the Legate, Sorceress, or Pilot).

How can I start a game as Necro? Is it possible? Or has it been "developed" out.

You can't start as a necromancer in a random game. You can create one from an existing hero but you have to build something first. I don't remember which building does it.

You do start as a Necromancer in one of the Campaigns, I think it's 'Making a Mage' that's probably what you're seeing in the let's plays.
