here on gog. they released 2.0.1 universal update. check your game library. I have it there but I have not seen the changelog for it. if its not there for u then give it some time I guess as it was released about an hour or so ago.
I am a bit confused, since my game version still reports as v 1.0.3 even after downloading and supposedly successfully applying the update. Has anyone else noted their game version on the main screen after applying this update?

It's still the same as v 1.0.3 , and still no windowed mode
I'll lose my patient soon if there is still no windowed mode

2.01 is the version of the installer, GOG's installers don't reflect game version but installer version.

The 2.01 universal update likely updates the game from 1.0 to 1.03.
Still problems with 1366*768 resolution and smaller. And also I have Intel Core i5-3210m, 8 GB ram, Geforce gt635m, Windows 8 Pro and still it isn´t fluent even on medium details....

That doesn't make any sense.
2.00 is v1.03
2.01 update was released a few days after 2.00.

If 2.01 is to upgrade v1.00 to v1.03 then it should be called 2.00 update not 2.01 update.
Attacking your own guards (robbers) still does not work with 1.0.3. This time the combat just stops. The enemy wont move.
I was like "omg, 2.0.1 probably means hotseat !"

And it's just 1.0.3. I'm frustrated.

taltamir: 2.00 is v1.03
2.00 is v1.0 of the game. You can update it with the updater app or by following the prompt to update but what you download from GOG is v1.0.

Snowbirdgames has released version 1.0.4 today, so go get that one.

Generally, GoG will update the main installer to the current version and release a "Universal Update" to bring any previously-downloaded copies up to the current version. In this case the current version is 1.0.3.

I just tested it and it appears you are correct.

Which you can do by running "update.exe" from the game's directory
GOG's versioning system is just stupidly annoying. They should match the game version instead of making up their own numbering.
