My computer crashed (hardware problems) after I hit end turn, and now when I go to continue the campaign Eador: Genesis crashes to desktop. It appears that my campaign is hosed, which is very sad, because I put in quite a lot of time. Is there anything I can do to recover it?

Find save folder and rename gameX.bkc (save on shard) or gameX.bka(astral) into gameX.cmp.

Gremlion: Find save folder and rename gameX.bkc (save on shard) or gameX.bka(astral) into gameX.cmp.
YES! Thank you so so much! The bkc was apparently still corrupt but the bka was good. I'll have to restart the shard but that's so much better than restarting the campaign!
