I was going to switch to Eador: MotBW, but actually dig the old sprite graphics much more than the new shiny 3d stuff. Also, seemed like the remake is still in the works, so might as well stomp around the good oldie.

But... gods. Even with all its quirks (and bloody cheating AI!), it's such a time sink.

Yep, I was hooked for over half a year. Still a bit surprised at how good this game is, did really not expect anything to ever come out that I like better than my old favourites of the past 25 years.
And now we got the New Horizons mod, which is like a full addon...more months ahead
