Every time I start a new shard in the campaign, I start with neutral karma. Also, in the astral view, there is no karma attribute next to my name, no matter how good or evil I was in the previous shard(s). So, the question is - does the game track your karma throughout the campaign? If so, where can it be seen? I played some shards as good (up to kind) and some others as evil (down to bloodthirsty) and would like to know where I stand in the sum of things.

If there is no global karma, then what affects your relations with other masters? Is it just the introductory dialog with them? So far, I've met Oinor (dislike) and Beleth (indifference).
Game does track Karma, but it decays from shard to shard.

Relations affected by your karma and your actions on shard. Attacking without declaring war decreases attitude, giving gifts increases.
After discussing Karma with Zarr, he hints about getting a salary in Energy. Is there a benefit to paying Zarr 2 Energy per turn?
Tsk-tsk, gamers these days.
Are you so poor to pay little energy to this hilarious gremlin?
I did pay! But only to confuse and shock him with generosity!
By the way, what non-event actions change karma?
One of the other threads says that casting the necro and chaos spells, and even hiring barbarians loses karma.
so, does casting cure wounds make karma go up?
do "evil" weapons like the soul-stealing kris make you lose karma as well?
