Really a noob question, but is there any option for me to control the guards when they defend a territory i control? I just see the combat results and it is kinda frustrating sometimes, since i would like to lead them in battle.

Another question/opinion, the game is turn based, but if i understand this correctly all turns take place at the same time right? This make things a bit odd sometimes, as i move to attack an enemy hero and he just move to another province...

1. You can control guards only in player vs player battle
2. Turn order:
1. Movement on own territory
2. Attacks on enemy provinces, order based on initiative. If you have highest - you can intercept enemy attack.
Thanks a lot Gremlion, makes sense now, was trying to find such info around.

Well, I've just made it possible to always control your guards in my trainer (see other thread). It is a cheat, but not a big one IMO. It would have been nice to have as a ingame difficulty option.
