So, doh-gor attacked me as a scripted event, Naturally my inclination is to retaliate and take him out, but I am curious toi know if anyone bothered sparing him? His dialog is absolutely hilarious, but I am not willing to put up with him constantly attacking me or worse, killing other masters. so here are a few questions

1. will doh-gor kill other masters if you let him live?
2. will doh-gor have anything interesting and useful to contribute to the various plots/victory conditions, or is he only going to continue giving his hilarious quips?
3. Did you spare doh-gor during your campaign playthrough? and how did it turn out for you.
Up to turn ~28 I kept every master alive.
The only thing Doh-Gor will say after the initial event is: "Enough talking!"

1. No. Masters don't kill each other.
Spoilers:
His death contributes to the victory conditions:
1. You obtain artifact, if you use it, you would be able to obtain permanent alliance with orcs (useful for evil master, their building regularly generates quite useful chunk of gold) and add 5-10 astral turns to game duration (useful on overlord, I think)
2. You would advance in the "Keys of truth" plot. Other Master holds information about it with the condition "don't speak to me until you kill him)

I know, but thanks anyways.
This is why I am asking if anyone bothered leaving him alive until the end of the game and if doing so ever amounted to anything

what if you kill him before encountering that other master?

There was a bug with this in Genesis, was fixed before release on GOG :)
Now game skips this part.

You'll occasionally be attacked by other masters who don't like you. I'm not certain offhand whether it picks one at random when the Astral turn says so, or if they each have their own timetable for doing this (when hostile), but if he's around then he'll probably be one of the attackers again at some point.
